What to do When You are Sick

During regular office hours call the site of your primary care physician either at Bristol (253-8900) or Barrington (247-0610). If your physician is unable to see you, he or she may refer you to the walk-in center to be seen by the covering physician there.

If your physician's office is closed, you may come in to the walk-in center and see the physician on-call.

If you become ill or injured after the office and walk-in center are closed, call our answering service at 401-276-6700, or our office number 401-253-8900. The physician on call will return your message as soon as possible.

In cases where a medical emergency arises such as chest pain, shortness of breath, high fever, etc. you should immediately call 911 or proceed directly to a hospital emergency room.
