Our Bristol Facility at 1180 Hope Street is a 25,000 square foot facility that houses a professional team of MARI physicians offering healthcare in a variety of specialties. We have twelve internists, two pediatricians, a dermatologist who is assisted by a physician assistant and two podiatrists. The Bristol facility also plays host to many other Providence-based specialists who have regular office hours in our facility. These specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, ENT, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurology, obstetrics, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonary medicine, rheumatology, surgery, and urology. Our Barrington satellite facility at 286 Maple Avenue is approximately fifteen minutes away from our Bristol location. The Barrington facility is staffed by two internists and a nurse practitioner, as well as two podiatrists. There are laboratory services on site.
Our different departments are tied together by a state-of-the-art electronic health record system. This allows your physician to access your health records around the clock whenever care is needed. Uniquely, our physicians are able to follow you personally to the majority of nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the East Bay area.
Our Walk-In Center provides medical services to patients for treatment of minor injuries and illnesses. Access to in-house diagnostic services such as x-ray and laboratory means the patient receives care promptly within a single facility. The Walk-In Center is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. We are open all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and July 4th for your medical needs.
Laboratory services are provided by East Side Clinical Laboratories, Inc. The operating hours for the laboratory are Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Laboratory diagnostic services include hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and coagulation. A professional staff of medical technologists, lab technicians and phlebotomists is available six days a week. The laboratory is licensed by the state of Rhode Island and is certified by CLIA. Walk-in service is available.
General radiology services are available Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our Radiology Department is licensed by the State of Rl and is accredited by the ACR for CT, Mammography, Ultrasound and MRI.Diagnostic Services Include:
- Routine x-rays
- Fluoroscopy
- Ultrasound
- MRI
Mammography services are available Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Female technologists specially trained in mammography will perform your exam on one of the most advanced breast imaging systems. Our mammography department is ACR accredited and FDA certified.
East Bay CT is located at the Bristol County Medical Center. Our 16-slice Ct imaging system offers unparalleled image quality with rapid scanning speed and full 3D reconstruction capabilities such as:
- 3D Pulmonary Arteriography for detection of pulmonary embolism (blood clots)
- 3D Orthopedic Reconstruction to visualize hip and knee fractures
- Visceral Vascular Studies to evaluate for aneurysms
- Vascular Studies to evaluate arm/leg vessels for peripheral vascular disease
- Head & Neck Vascular Studies to evaluate for stroke, tumors, etc.
Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Testing services are available Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our state-of-the-art bone densitometer is a safe, fast, noninvasive and painless method to provide physicians with an accurate assessment of patient bone density and associated risk of fracture.
