Dr. Chace

Patricia A. Chace, M.D., CMD
(Bristol) Originally from Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, Dr. Chace received her degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at Roger Williams Hospital. Dr. Chace has been with the medical center since 1980 and has a particular interest in geriatrics. She is Medical Director at Saint Elizabeth’s Manor and Silver Creek Nursing Center.

Dr. Constantino

Cassandra Constantino, M.D.
(Bristol) After receiving her Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Michigan, Dr. Constantino completed her medical residency at Oakwood Hospital in Michigan. She then completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. She joined the medical center in 1996. Dr. Constantino is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Dr. Fischer

Bruce E. Fischer, M.D.
(Bristol) Dr. Fischer is a graduate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing his residency at Rhode Island Hospital, he spent five weeks in S. Miguel (Portugal) to learn the Portuguese language. He enjoys traveling and playing tennis. Dr. Fischer is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He joined the medical center in 1992.

Dr. Hamilton

Geoffrey R. Hamilton, M.D.
(Bristol) A graduate of Davidson College, Dr. Hamilton earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1997. He served his residency at Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospital, Brown University Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Hamilton joined the Center in 2001.

Dr. Harrop

Pamela A. Harrop, M.D., FACP
(Bristol) Dr. Pamela Harrop is a life long Rhode Island resident.  She attended the University of Vermont Medical School and the Brown University Primary Care Residency Program.  Dr. Harrop has been in practice for over twenty years and currently serves as the President of the Bristol County Medical Center.  Her practice involves outpatient and inpatient care at both Rhode Island Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center. 

Dr. Harrop holds a clinical appointment with Brown Alpert Medical School and is very active in teaching medical residents both in an inpatient and outpatient setting.  She has been recognized with several teaching awards.  Dr. Harrop is a member of the Rhode Island Medical Women's Association.

Dr. Perrone

Howard F. Perrone, M.D.
(Bristol & Barrington) Originally from New York City, Dr. Perrone received his degree in medicine from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is Medical Director at Eastgate Nursing and Recovery Center. His background includes work in emergency room medicine. He has been with the medical center since 1981.

Dr. Ross

James A. Ross, M.D.
(Bristol) Dr. Ross received his bachelors degree at Bates College, his Ph.D. from Dartmouth College then went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Ross joined the medical center in 1988.

Dr.Whelan

Cathleen A. Whelan, M.D.
(Bristol) After receiving her medical degree from Cornell University College of Medicine in 1997, Dr.Whelan completed her internal medicine residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University of Medicine. Dr. Whelan joined the Center in August of 2000.

Dr. Koncsol

Kathryn A. Koncsol, M.D.
(Barrington & Bristol) With a degree in medicine from Temple University School of Medicine Dr. Koncsol completed her residency training at Rhode Island Hospital through the Brown University Affiliated Hospitals Program. Dr. Koncsol joined the Center in July of 2007.

Dr. Dennison

Allen M. Dennison, M.D.
(Barrington) Dr. Dennison joined the medical center in 1994. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from Harvard College, Dr. Dennison received his medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital.  Dr. Dennison is fluent in Spanish and is a scout master in the Boy Scouts of America.  He is Medical Director at Evergreen House Health Center.

Ms. Hart
Nurse Practitioner

Elaine D. Hart, R.N., N.P.
(Barrington) Elaine Hart did her undergraduate work at Salve Regina College and received her masters degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston. She received her certification as an adult nurse practitioner in 1991 from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Hart joined the medical center in 1994. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Nurse Practitioner Council of Rhode Island.

Dr. Torf Alane B.Torf, M.D.
(Bristol) Dr. Torf received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and then completed her residency training at Rhode Island Hospital. Following her residency, Dr. Torf completed a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Torf joined the Center in September of 2005.

Dr. Orban Zsolt Orban, M.D.
(Bristol) Dr. Orban received his medical degree from Semmelweis University Medical School in 1992. He completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in 1995 and his fellowship in clinical endocrinology and metabolism at the National Institute of Health in 1999.   He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Orban is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinologists.  His clinical interests include general medicine, disorders of the thyroid and pituitary, and bone metabolism.  Dr. Orban joined the Center in 2000.

Dr. Filardo Debra K. Filardo, M.D.
(Bristol) A graduate of Texas A & M University, Dr. Filardo earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and served her residency at the Children’s Medical Center, Dallas Texas. Dr. Filardo has been with the Center since 1996.

Dr. Mohlman Leslie C. Mohlman, M.D.
(Bristol) After receiving her medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Mohlman completed her residency at Ohio State University Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Columbus. Dr. Mohlman specialized in both pediatric and adult medicine. She joined the Center in 2004.

- Gwenn M. Vittimberga, M.D.
(Bristol) After receiving her medical degree from the Brown University Program in Medicine, Dr. Vittimberga completed her residency at Roger Williams General Hospital and Brown University Affiliated Hospitals. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology in the Brown University Medical School. Dr. Vittimberga joined the medical center in 1991.
Ms. DaSilva Graciette DaSilva, PA-C
(Bristol) Ms. DaSilva received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. She went on to obtain her Physician Assistant Certificate and Master’s of Health Studies from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Ms. DaSilva specializes in dermatology/treatment of skin disorders. She is fluent in Portuguese and joined the Center in 2000.
Podiatry

Dr. Reuter Richard A. Reuter, D.P.M.
(Bristol/Barrington) Dr. Reuter received his degree at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He is on staff at both Rhode Island Hospital and Roger Williams Hospital. A resident of Barrington, he has been with the medical center since 1976.
Dr. Rock Jeffrey J. Rock, D.P.M.
(Bristol/Barrington) Dr. Rock received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA in 1995. He completed his residency at the Cambridge Hospital/Harvard Medical School in 1997. Dr. Rock is Board Certified by the American Board of Podatric Surgery in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Rock joined the Center in 2001.

Many of our physicians are involved in the teaching of Rhode Island Hospital residents through the Brown University Medical School Program.
